An official Down-Day1 Survey
[glow=red,2,300]What are your favorite set of lyrics for any Shootyz Song on any Shootyz album??[/glow]
I'd say my vote for best set of lyrics would go to a song on the Hipnosis album........track #4 "Once". The second set would come in Gold.
The second set which starts out, "You causin tension in my kingdom boy I'll teach you, never blast ya, lookin for the green and not the money but the pasture..." I could just keep on goin on with the rest of the song!
Even the first set, "I'm up against the wall drinkin mad alcohol, got myself a headache now I need some tylenol, time alon would be dandy, in beaches that are sandy, walkin by the seas with the sun feelin free..."
To me, it has a grit that can't be matched yet silky-smooth the whole time. Genius fellas! The whole song just flows perfectly.

.....Lend me your ear, got this mic here, about to start a renaisance, unite all the colors of the world like beniton......
[glow=red,2,300]or[/glow]
.....An Oasis, Races, of all types, chillin in the heights......
These two lyrics, I believe, sum up Shootyz's philosophies & overall positive mentality. Which is why every show, regardless of size, amount of people, venue......is off the hook. True.

From "Easily"
"Everything illuminated seems so far, easily we walk the streets with our eyes upon the stars. The woman and the man, the rich and the poor. I'm alive, thank the lord, that's only thing that's hardcore. Complete now, one love sisters and brothers, open your mind wide 'cause it pays to discover. It's not about the color or creed, we all bleed. The streets are congested but there's still room to breathe. So stop the negative and change the way you live, so stop!
And let me tell you something. Don't ever think you're nothing, your life you gotta treasure, beware of the devil, stay level."
